A man from Detroit was accused of kidnapping and killing his ex-girlfriend who worked as a nurse at Detroit Receiving Hospital.

Man in Detroit Was Accused of Kidnapping and Murder

The Detroit Police arrested a man identified as Jamere Miller, 36 years old, after he was accused of kidnapping and murdering his ex-girlfriend. Police authorities identified the victim as Patrice Wilson, 29 years old, who worked as a nurse at Detroit Receiving Hospital.

In a published article in FOX News, police authorities said that Miller grabbed his ex-girlfriend after her shift ended around 7:30 in the morning on Saturday outside the Detroit Receiving Hospital. It was also found that he forced her ex-girlfriend into his car before leaving.

Police authorities also added that Wilson was found dead inside the trunk of the car later that afternoon on the same day. Meanwhile, Detroit Police Chief James White said that Jamere Miller turned himself in with his lawyer because he already felt the pressure of the investigation.

Friends of Wilson Released a Statement

Some people who knew Wilson were shocked after they heard about the news. One of the friends of Wilson, who chose not to be named, said, “She was sweet, you know? In the short time I knew her, you know what I am saying? She did her job. She went home to her kid and her family.”

Another person also told a local news outlet that Wilson was a hardworking nurse and her death made a “shockwave” in the community.
