A Florida mom murdered her husband in 2015, buried his corpse under a homemade fire pit, and pretends to be him on Facebook Messenger to trick friends and family. It didn’t quite go well as planned. In the new motion for reconsideration, the defense said,” The person who fired the first shot was a teen girl who would have found out later on that she was just a 7-year-old according to her date of birth at the time of the murder.”

Law enforcement affidavit followed with a list of various things found suspicious

After more than two years, on February 16, 2018, according to the given documents one of  Michael Shaver’s friends, Scott said,” The whole situation shows that Laurie Shaver is not telling the truth about Michael’s situation. It is shown,” he said, that he applied for a welfare check. The victim said he  disappeared mysteriously. Investigators said Shaver’s driver’s license, passport, and medical certificate as an FAA pilot had expired and no one had seen Shaver alive since late 2015. They have concluded that Michael Shaver is no longer alive. When pressed by investigators at the property, Laurie Shaver allegedly claimed that Michael went to Georgia after his arrest for domestic violence in September 2014 and the last time she saw him was during a DCF custody trial in 2015.
