Police officers responded to a home after they received a report that a boy was left alone by his parents in a home in Florida.
2-Year-Old Boy Was Found Covered With Flies
The Fort Walton Beach Police Department immediately checked a home in the area after they received a report that a 2-year-old boy was left abandoned by his parents. When they arrived at the home, they saw the baby boy slapping the window and appeared covered with multiple flies.
In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, the officers responded to the home on April 22 and attempted to make contact with anyone inside the home. However, no one was there except the 2-year-old boy. The officers eventually made it inside the home and called the EMS after evaluating the child.
Additionally, the child was transported to the HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital to be treated. Fortunately, the child does not have any life-threatening injuries but is still in the hospital for further treatment.

Parents of the 2-Year-Old Boy Were Charged and Arrested
Police authorities identified the parents of the 2-year-old boy as Tyler Piringer and Diamond Atkinson. Police said that they returned to their home six hours after the police officers arrived. It was found that they just came from shopping.
However, it is not known if they just left the child on that day or how many days they left the 2-year-old boy alone in the house. When police officers arrived, they observed the “feces on the walls, mounds of soiled diapers, an extreme amount of insect activity, and the bedroom door of the room was locked from the outside.”
