Frank Camaro has committed suicide after allegedly murdering Johnalynn Ilae in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ilae was reportedly missing for 3 days before she was found tied up and strangled to death in a bathtub.
Honolulu Police Lieutenant Deena Thoemmes stated that Frank Camaro and Johnalynn Ilae, 36, have met up at a beach in Hawaii. Thereafter, they went back together to an apartment in the Waikele area of Honolulu. In the apartment, Camaro and Ilae have reportedly argued due to family matters. It was on January 25 since Ilae had been last seen since then. Authorities then attempted to locate Camaro and Ilae’s whereabouts by tracking their digital devices.According to Nuttle, on January 26, Camaro was discovered dead in Ala Moana Hotel. Authorities reportedly found Camaro with a gunshot wound to his head. However, no one from the hotel reportedly heard a gunshot. The hotel is also said to be only a short walk from the Waikele apartment. A day later, Ilae’s 2013 Nissan Altima was also located in the 94-1000 block of Nawele Street

Ilae Found Dead
According to Eberhart, on January 28, authorities discovered Ilae tied up and strangled to death in a bathtub in the Waikele apartment. Ilae’s wrists have reportedly been bound by zip ties However, authorities could not determine the cause of Ilae’s death at that time the because of her decomposing body. Eventually, an autopsy showed that Ilae died from being strangled. The alleged suspect was believed to be Camaro. Honolulu Police stated that if Camaro had been alive, he would have faced a charge of second-degree murder. Nonetheless, Ilae’s death was ruled as a homicide.
