The perpetrator fled and managed to elude law enforcement for numerous weeks, all the while persistently contacting, sending messages, and tormenting the victim and her daughters, as stated by prosecutors.

On December 28th, he was finally apprehended and subsequently indicted on Wednesday for attempted murder and various other charges.

In a terrifying attack, one of her daughters bravely rescued her mother from the tracks, undoubtedly saving her life.

Just moments before the horrifying attack, Blount had relentlessly harassed his former girlfriend and her children at a deli in Harlem.

According to court documents, Blount had been persistently bothering his ex-girlfriend and her family at a Harlem deli, making repeated calls to her.

Blount followed them down the steps to the A-train station, prosecutors charged, after she gave him the cold shoulder and left the store with her daughters.

According to prosecutors, a kind-hearted bystander hailed a taxi for the woman and her daughters. They were then taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital to receive treatment for her injuries, which were severe enough to necessitate plastic surgery.

Blount, according to state records, is a registered “sexually violent offender” and has a criminal conviction for sex-related offenses.

Blount faced additional charges of robbery but was subsequently released in 2020. He is currently on parole until 2025.

In Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday, he entered a plea of not guilty and was subsequently ordered to be held without bail.
