Two Charged with Animal Abandonment in Clifton Springs
Authorities in Ontario County have charged two individuals with animal abandonment after a dog and two cats were discovered left alone in a house on Kendall Street in Clifton Springs.
The Ontario County Humane Society reported receiving the initial complaint on August 1. The animals were rescued and are now under the care of a local shelter.
On Monday, deputies arrested 46-year-old Davis Isaac and 65-year-old Richard Smith in connection with the incident. Both were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Clifton Springs Village Court at a later date.
