Man Fatally Shot in Washington Heights; Investigation Underway

A man was shot and killed in Washington Heights on Saturday night, according to the New York Police Department.

Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 10:56 p.m. near 2949 Frederick Douglass Boulevard. The victim, identified as 47-year-old David Brown, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen. He was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
