Antonio Orlando Lucero was arrested after several gunshots were fired from the shooting suspect’s room at Millennium Harvest House hotel in Colorado. Fortunately, despite the incident, no injuries have been reported.
On February 20, around 9:30 a.m., a police officer from the University of Colorado Boulder was driving on 28th Street when he reportedly heard gunshots along the intersection of Arapahoe Avenue. Subsequently, the authorities also received reports about gunshots being fired in Millennium Harvest House hotel at 1345 28th Street. The Boulder City and County SWAT were then mobilized to enter the hotel. They collaborated with other police agencies and Boulder Fire-Rescue to formulate a tactical response.According to Beese, the authorities were able to pin down the room where the shooting suspect was located. However, as they were approaching the room, the shooting suspect fled. He reportedly went out of a back door and ran down the Folsom Street before authorities could arrest him. Fortunately, the shooting suspect was identified as Antonio Orlando Lucero, 45.

Shooting Suspect Eventually Arrested
An article on the Boulder, Colorado website states that the authorities discovered two handguns and several gunshots fired in Lucero’s room. At least one gunshot had even hit an unoccupied vehicle in the parking lot. Eventually, Lucero was arrested and transported to a hospital for medical evaluation.
Subsequently, Lucero was booked and faced several charges including possession of a weapon by a previous offender, possession of narcotics with intent to distribute, resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, criminal mischief, and special offender- sentence enhancer.
