We made it to Week 1, and of course, it is time to make some money with prop bets! The 49ers and Jets finish the week with Monday Night Football, and there are plenty of prop bets to target.
Let’s look at some bets to target, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Christian McCaffrey anytime TD (-170)
The lowest-hanging fruit is sometimes the sweetest. Yes, McCaffrey was out for the entire preseason, and Kyle Shanahan added “Achilles” to McCaffrey’s initial calf injury. However, it would be impossible to ignore McCaffrey’s touchdown potential when he was a lock in 2023.
The Jets’ run defense struggled last season, and if the 49ers get into range, then it’s easy money in a defensive slugfest. I’ll take this prop just about every week.
George Kittle over 45.5 receiving yards (-110)
The lights are on, and Kittle shines brightly during nationally televised games. The Jets secondary poses an interesting challenge for the 49ers with Aiyuk on a pitch count following his hold-in, and Shanahan will create mismatches for Kittle on the Jets linebackers.
Think back to last season against the Giants on Thursday Night Football, where Kittle finished with 90 receiving yards and his three-touchdown performance on Sunday Night Football against Dallas. This feels easy.
Jauan Jennings over 18.5 receiving yards (-110)
With Aiyuk on a snap count, Jennings looks to benefit from his role, especially on third down. Jennings’s total is meager, and it would take two catches to surpass this total.
With the likelihood of Sauce Gardner taking a receiver out of the mix, Jennings has a chance to cash bettors out with an easy total to clear. Give me Jennings with the easy cash in.
Deebo Samuel over 69.5 total yards (-114)
Deebo has come into the season with a point to prove. Not only is Samuel in the best shape of his life, but he is also on a mission to quiet the doubters this season.
Expect the 49ers to utilize Samuel on jet sweeps and manufacture touches for number 19. 69.5 yards is entirely too low for a total. Deebo will clear this number.
