The moment two cops found Shad Thyrion’s remains was caught on camera by the jury in Taylor Schabusiness’s murder trial.
Woman Allegedly Dismembering Lover
This week, when prosecutors presented body camera footage as evidence in the grisly slaying of the Green Bay man, the terrifying moment two police officers discovered Shad Thyrion’s severed skull and genitals in his mother’s basement were shown in court.
Acoording to the article in TOOFAB, members of the jury saw the previously unseen video this week as testimony in Taylor Schabusiness’ murder trial got underway. The Florida lady is charged with utilizing BDSM gone awry to choke Thyrion to death, sexually assaulting him, and then dismembering his body.
The two responding policemen can be heard expressing their astonishment at the startling finding in the more than five-minute footage of police responding to Thyrion’s mother Tara Pakanich’s house.
According to Officer Alex Wanish, whose body camera footage was played in court, Thyrion’s decapitated head was found inside a green bucket adjacent to the basement steps, hidden behind a towel. When Pakanich woke asleep to the sound of the home’s door slamming shut, she dialed 911 and told the dispatchers where to look for the bucket, says PEOPLE.

Bodycam Reveals Reactions of Officers
According to Wanish’s body camera footage, he told his dispatcher that there was a lot of blood inside the house and requested assistance in getting there.
Later that evening, when Schabusiness was being arrested in an apartment complex, further body camera footage revealed she had what seemed to be blood on her left hand.
According to Schabusiness’ purported story, the police consider Thyrion was strangled before his corpse was dismembered. According to the first criminal complaint, she allegedly admitted to authorities that she didn’t want to kill him but that she loved choking him and kept doing it. Graf then stated that Schabusiness had claimed to have cut up Thyrion’s body with knives from the upper kitchen.
Later, she entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity, but she was unable to persuade the judge that she was unfit for the courtroom.
Earlier this year, at a competency hearing, Schabusiness assaulted her own defense counsel before being taken on the ground by police.
