The San Francisco 49ers beat the New York Jets in convincing fashion on Monday night. Jordan Mason made people briefly forget about Christian McCaffrey, while Brock Purdy played point guard and the 49ers scored at will.
On the other side of the ball, the defense was effective and made Aaron Rodgers work for everything while shutting down New York’s big play weapons, Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson. It was a team win that included several Jake Moody field goals.
Was a 32-19 win impressive? Of course, it was. Is that the most remarkable thing that happened tonight? Absolutely not. We had ourselves an NFL Scorigami – when the score in a game is one that has never happened before – thanks to the unique score.
NYJ 19 – 32 SF
FinalThat’s Scorigami!! It’s the 1085th unique final score in NFL history.

Six field goals in one game will certainly throw a score for a loop. But the Jets also scored touchdowns on two separate occasions without converting the point after attempt.
Of course, the 49ers would love to up their efficiency when they get into their opponent’s territory, but thanks to Moody coming through, we have the 108th unique final score in NFL history.
