The men did something very mean to Nicole. Medina-Reyes shot her in the head, and then Tobar shot her again. They put her body in plastic bags and threw it away on the side of a road. The police were very upset and sad about what happened. The district attorney said this was one of the worst things he had seen in his whole career. Tobar and Medina-Reyes were punished by going to jail for a very long time.
