According to Just The News, Pritzker Administration in Illinois wants to save money on healthcare. They plan to remove many older non-citizens from the state’s health care plan. This could save taxpayers up to $14 million. They’ve already started with those over 65 and might do the same for those over 42.

They started helping non-citizens with health care in 2020. Then, they expanded it to include more people in 2021. Now, they’re cutting back to save money.
