Announced Refund Date For EITC

The refund date for EITC was recently announced. This said refund date will be accessible to individuals with no issues on their return.

The refund date is announced to be on February 27, 2024, at the latest, with amounts ranging from $600 to $7,430. This announced refund date for EITC is for those with low incomes of less than $63,698.

According to a published article by NCB, taxpayers may track their refund date and status through the IRS2Go app or the “Where’s My Refund?” service on the IRS website by inputting their tax year, Social Security number, filing status, and refund amount.

$13 Billion Refunds So Far

In a published article by CNET, the IRS has issued over $13 billion in tax refunds so far. To check the status of your refund, you can follow specific steps. If you claimed the child tax credit or the earned income tax credit, the IRS must wait until at least mid-February to process and send the credit money.
