 Accusations of International Law Violations

Volodin accuses Washington of breaching international law and the UN Charter by launching military strikes on Yemen without due process, heightening concerns over potential global conflict.

Expressing apprehension about the Biden administration’s motives, Volodin suggests that the military actions in Yemen may be a strategy to divert attention from domestic and international challenges, including issues in Ukraine and within the United States.

The call for a trial reflects Russia’s strong condemnation of the joint US-British military campaign in Yemen, with presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov labeling the intervention as illegal and a violation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
