Montana SNAP Benefits on January Food Stamps Up to $1,751 Available in 15 Days

Starting in 15 days, Montana’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will pay up to $1,751 in January, Brady Knox reported on December 18, 2023.

Montana SNAP: Monthly Payments, Household Benefits, and Usage Details

SNAP payments in Montana are distributed monthly over five days. From December 2 to December 6, payments were distributed, and from January 2 to January 6, payments will be distributed. The payment receipt date depends on the recipient’s SNAP case number, account number, Social Security number, or last name.

SNAP payments depend on household size. Monthly benefits range from $291 for single-person households to $1,751 for eight-person households. For homes over eight, each extra person receives $219. Montana SNAP income requirements apply. Eight-person households must earn less than $4,214 per month, while single-person households must earn less than $1,215.

Farmers’ markets and food retailers accept SNAP subsidies. Monthly electronic benefits transfer cards are loaded with money.
