Invest 94L Predicted To Become Tropical Depression While Sean Weakens To Post-Tropical Cyclone

The tropical disturbance Invest 94L is predicted to become a tropical depression that will likely form later in the week. Nonetheless, reports say the tropical depression Sean is weakening into a post-tropical cyclone and is expected to dissipate early this week.

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) named a tropical disturbance located in the central Atlantic Ocean as Invest 94L as it is being observed for any potential development. Reports say the Invest 94L displayed increasing signs of organization and continued to produce showers and thunderstorms as of today, October 16.

Furthermore, an article in FOX Weather states that the Invest 94L is predicted to become a tropical depression and will likely form later in the week as it moves across the central and western tropical Atlantic Ocean in the following days. Once it reaches the tropical storm status, the Invest 94L will reportedly be named as Tammy.

Another Tropical Depression Weakens

Fortunately, according to Jones, despite Invest 94L being predicted to become a tropical depression, another tropical depression named Sean is expected to weaken into a post-tropical cyclone and dissipate early in the week.

Further reports say Sean did not have any impact on land but it formed the farthest in the east of the tropical Atlantic than any other tropical storm that was put on record. Sean was also the 19th storm to reach the tropical storm status in 2023 to which only three other seasons had more than 19 Atlantic named storms.
