Zane Jones, whose wife was killed during a road rage in Texas, is seeking the public’s help to locate the shooting suspect. Reports say Jones was at the crime scene driving a minivan when the incident happened.
On July 10, at around 9:20 p.m., authorities and fire units responded to reports of a shooting suspect on West Hurst Boulevard in Tarrant County. Upon arriving at the crime scene, authorities discovered Paola Nunez Linares, 37, sustaining a wound to the head after being hit by the shooting suspect.According to Wehner, Linares’ husband, Zane Jones, was at the scene and told investigators they were driving their minivan on East Loop 820 when they got involved in a road rage incident with another vehicle.
During the incident, the driver of the other vehicle, which Jones described as small, dark, and an old model, fired several gunshots at them which hit Linares. The victim was immediately transported to the JPS Hospital, but unfortunately, died thereafter.
Shooting Suspect At Large
According to Melnick, on July 11, Jones posted on Facebook to seek the public’s help in locating the shooting suspect involved in the road rage incident. Jones stated that his wife was an innocent passenger when he flipped off the shooting suspect who put them in danger. Further reports say Jones created a GoFundMe page to raise money for funerary and travel expenses for going back and forth from Guatemala.
