Missouri Woman Accused Of Kidnapping Pregnant Woman Because She Wanted Her Unborn Child, Is Now Charged In Fetus’ Death

The Missouri Woman was charged last year with kidnapping a 31 weeks pregnant woman so she could steal her unborn baby and has now been additionally charged in connection with the death of the unborn child, authorities announced.

Missouri Woman Is Now Charged In The Death Of The Unborn Fetus In Connection Of Kidnapping The Mother Last Year

A grand jury has accused the 43 years old Amber Waterman, of kidnapping Ashley Bush, 33 years old of Benton County, Arkansas, who is 31 weeks pregnant at that time which results in the death of the fetus Valkyrie Grace Willis, according to an indictment filed Tuesday in US District Court in Missouri.

The Missouri woman was indicted in November in the fatal kidnapping of Bush and was found dead on November 3.

Moreover, it was found out by the authorities that  Bush appeared to have been shot and her body was discovered in Missouri, while the fetus was located in a different location.

Furthermore, NBC News reported that 43-year-old Jamie Waterman, the Missouri woman’s husband was also previously indicted on one count of assisting his wife in the alleged kidnapping and preventing her apprehension.

Amber Waterman faces life in prison if she is convicted. Her husband faces a maximum prison term of 15 years. Both have pleaded not guilty.

The Missouri Woman Lure Her Victim For A Work-Related Meeting

The People reported that the Federal authorities have said Amber Waterman, of Pineville, Missouri, use a fake Facebook profile under the name of “Lucy” to allegedly lured Bush into believing she was meeting with a work supervisor on October 31.

Prior to the arrest,  Amber Waterman denied that she know Bush or had any connection to her, according to an affidavit in support of her arrest. In an interview with authorities at her home, Amber claimed that she delivered a stillborn baby on October 31, the same day Bush went missing. according to the affidavit.
