The average gas prices in the state of Washington have increased over the past month. Reports say it surpassed the average in California which is infamous for its expensive gas prices.
Over the past month, the average gas prices in the state of Washington have increased to $4.93 per gallon which is a rise of 32 cents. Reports say it is 7 cents more than the average in California which is infamous for its expensive prices for everything, particularly fuel.According to an article in ABC7, California had normally been the state in the U.S. with the most expensive average gas prices over the last few years. Nonetheless, despite the state of Washington having the highest average, the gas stations near the major cities of California are still imposing expensive prices.

Average Gas Prices in Washington
According to Grant, in King County in the city of Seattle, the average gas prices cost $5.09 per gallon. On the other hand, in Skamania County, the average cost is $5.32 per gallon. The average in Washington is almost $2 per gallon more than that of Mississippi. Reportedly, the average cost in Mississippi is $3.01 per gallon which is the cheapest in the country.
