An unnamed Florida driver was seen dragging a dog behind a truck for almost half a mile. The horrifying incident was caught on the security cameras of the residents who chased the truck down.
Authorities from Florida announced that they have already tracked down the driver who was caught on video dragging a dog behind a truck for almost half a mile. The Charlotte County Public Safety gave credit to “super sleuths” who helped in locating the vehicle and the unnamed Florida driver.According to Betz, the authorities were searching for a 2009-2014 Gray Ford F150 STX vehicle last week. This was in connection with the animal cruelty incident that happened around Lakeworth Boulevard and Durant Street and involved a “reddish brown-colored dog”.

Florida Driver Tracked Down
According to Crane, some residents chased down the truck which made the Florida driver get out and throw the dog in the back before driving away again. This horrifying incident was apparently caught on the residents’ security cameras.
Todd Tyler, one of the residents, stated that he could not get the image of the scene out of his head. He allegedly saw bloody paw prints which was what really traumatized him the most. However, Animal Control Officer Colby Mazzoni of Charlotte County stated that they are still not certain whether the Florida driver did the incident on purpose.
Nonetheless. the non-profit organization will still be treating the incident as a cruelty case. As of June 12, however, it is still not certain whether the Florida driver had already been arrested.
