Thousands of low-income families across the United States will be expecting their Food Stamps in May.

Food Stamps In May Schedule

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will be arriving again this month. The USDA gives a schedule on payments each month for all the states and territories.

Here is the list of dates for each state’s SNAP acoording to the Gazette’s website:

Food Stamps In May

Food stamps in May will be loaded onto the recipients EBT cards. Amounts varies on household incomes and sizes.

Generally, the household income must be at or below 130% of the poverty line.

According to the Center on Budget and Police Priorities, an average monthly SNAP for a household of three is $577 while the maximum is $740. For household of eight is $1,150, maximum of $1,691.
