Difficulty To Potty Trained Leads To The Death Of A Child

Fatal death of a 6-year-old child because of trouble in potty training

On Monday, May 15, an announcement was released, that Reyna Flores-Rosales will be spending time in prison for being charged with multiple cases.

According to the press release, responders were sent to Flores-Rosales’ house after she cited her son was unable to show signs of life on the shower floor. A lot of injuries and scars were found on the child’s body and most scars were in varying stages of healing. The paramedics tried to send the child to the nearby hospitals and the medical team discovered a large burn from his lower back to his buttocks. After they examined the child’s body they found numerous burns on some parts of the body. Swelling on the back of the head and even old scars that were about to heal. This leads to the conclusion that the child had suffered repetitive abuse.

The report showed the child’s death is due to blunt-force trauma

Severe head trauma and multiple injuries were declared in the report the prosecutor said the boy, experienced repeated torture and the mother stated the reason for potty training she was having with her son. A piece of evidence was recovered from the crime that the mother was yelling at her son and calling him names.
