Investigators confirmed that they found the dead body of Richard Lee Morris, who was declared missing by his family in August 2021. The body was buried in the backyard of 28-year-old Robert Pippin and his 53-year-old mother, Emily Pippin.
In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, the Coronover Police arrested both of them and charged them with the concealment of a corpse. The investigation started after Morris’ family reported him missing after not hearing from him for several months.
Robert Pippin was being held for a $10,000 bond while his mother Emily Pippin was set at a $1,000 bond, according to a report published in Hickory Record.
