Jackson Mahomes, Brother of NFL Superstar, Arrested on Sexual Battery Charges in Kansas

Jackson Mahomes, younger brother of an NFL superstar, was arrested after being charged of sexual battery. However, Mahomes posted a bond of $100,000 and was eventually released.

In a criminal complaint, the prosecutors accused Jackson Mahomes, 22, for unlawfully touching another individual who did not consent of the intent to satisfy his sexual desires and for causing physical contact with another in an insulting manner. Furthermore, court records revealed that a judge ordered Mahomes that he cannot publicly comment on the case and cannot contact any victim or witnesses.

According to Morse, Jackson Mahomes is the younger brother of NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes. Patrick is Kansas City Chiefs’ starting quarterback and had won his second Super Bowl title earlier this 2023. Mahomes had become famous in the past years because of his social media content, especially his TikTok account which has more than a million followers.

Charges on Jackson Mahomes

According to Geiger, on May 3, at around 7 a.m., Jackson Mahomes was arrested and booked into a detention center. Reports say Mahomes faced charges of one count of battery and three counts of aggravated sexual battery by the District Attorney’s Office of Johnson County.

Jackson Mahomes reportedly posted a bond of $100,000 and was eventually released. However, he only appeared online in custody from the jail and did not speak during his first appearance in court. Nonetheless, reports say Mahomes is scheduled for a court date on May 11.
