Jordan Neely’s case will likely go to a grand jury next week. He was the man who was choked to death on a subway train in New York, CBS News reported.

According to reports, last May 1, Jordan Neely was put in a chokehold because he began acting erratically. He was put in a chokehold by a 24-year-old Marine veteran Daniel Penny.
Pennyy was questioned and later released by New York City police.
Jordan Neely’s case will be decided by a grand jury whether criminal charges will be filed against Daniel Penny.
Daniel Peeny expressed his condolences to the family and friends of Jordan Neely. In a released statement by Penny’s attorney Friday evening, Penny said he never intended to harm Jordan Neely and could’ve foreseen his untimely death.
On the other hand, Jordan Neely’s death was listed by the New York City Police Office of Chief Medical Examiner as a homicide on Wednesday.

Jordan Neely’s Death
The tragic death of Neely has sparked an investigation. Manhattan District Attorney’s Office will review all video footage, interview witnesses as many as possible, review Medical Examiner’s report, and obtain additional medical records.
Police sources told that as Neely acted erratically on the train and allegedly throw trash and yelled at passengers, two other riders are seen trying to restrain Jordan Neely’s arm before all three let him go, Neely was left motionless on the floor.
Overall, Jordan Neely’s case will likely go to a grand jury next week. The grand jury will decide whether criminal charges will be filed against people who participated in Neely’s death.
