On the evening of May 4, a new bodycam footage was released where the Idaho student murders suspect, Bryan Kohberger, 28, was seen arguing with a police officer from the Washington State University. The incident reportedly happened in October 2022, a month before Kohberger had committed the quadruple murders.According to Ruiz, in the footage, the officer was heard telling Kohberger that he had been pulled over because he ran the red light. However, the Idaho student murders suspect replied that he was stuck in the middle of the intersection so he had no choice but to go left. Nonetheless, the officer insisted that Kohberger was not supposed to enter the intersection when the light turns red.

Idaho Student Murders Suspect’s Alibis
An article in CNN states that the Idaho student murders suspect reasoned he was not familiar with the Washington state law because he was from the rural part of Pennsylvania. Nonetheless, the officer explained that under the law, drivers cannot enter the intersection unless there is enough space for the vehicles. In the end, Kohberger was let off only with a warning.
