Kansas City Man Arrested at Randolph Motel Faces Drug and Firearm Charges
A Kansas City man may face decades behind bars after law enforcement tracked a stolen vehicle to a Randolph motel, uncovering drugs and stolen firearms in the process.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported that the Kansas City Police Department contacted them around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, after tracking a stolen car to a Motel 6 in Randolph.
Officers located the unoccupied vehicle at the motel and collaborated with management to identify the suspect, 38-year-old Domnick Livingston of Kansas City. He was apprehended in his motel room.
A subsequent search of Livingston’s room and the stolen vehicle revealed methamphetamine, PCP, Hydrocodone tablets, and three stolen firearms, according to investigators.
Livingston has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of a controlled substance. If convicted, he could face up to 21 years in prison and a $30,000 fine.
As of Thursday, Livingston remains in custody at the Clay County Detention Center on a $75,000 bond. His arraignment was scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday. No additional details have been released.
