Souleymane Fadiga, 29, was arrested in New York in late November in connection to the stabbing of 30-year-old Tyler Ponzo on November 1.

Wilmington police found Ponzo in the 1900 block of W. 4th St. around 11:30 p.m. after receiving a call for a welfare check. When officers arrived, they discovered Ponzo unresponsive with a laceration on his arm. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and later died. An autopsy confirmed he had been stabbed.
