NEWKIRK — A failure to appear warrant is issued for Megan Lyn Logan, 33, Tulsa, by the Kay County District Court.

Logan was one of three people charged with child abuse and neglect charges on Jan. 11, 2019. (see story)

On June 8, 2020, she entered a no contest plea to the charges and sentencing was deferred for three years.

Since then multiple failure to appear and failure to pay warrants have been issued for her.

On Jan. 18, 2022, she was jailed on a failure to appear warrant. On Jan. 31, 2022 she entered a plea of no contest in the case and was sentenced to   a 15-year suspended prison sentence.

She failed to appear for a compliance docket on May 27, 2022 and another warrant was issued. She then failed to pay on June 7, 2022. The pattern continued until Sept. 9, 2024, when she entered a no contest plea to the charges again after a motion to revoke was filed.

Sentencing was scheduled for Jan. 6. She was released from the county jail on Sept. 9 in an attempt to gain compliance.

Logan failed to appear for sentencing on Jan. 6 and warrant with bond endorsed at $10,000 is issued.
