Iowa State Patrol Captures Big Rig Driver on I-380 for Missing Tires

The Iowa State Patrol Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit is asking truckers to check their mirrors and remain vigilant after encountering a semi truck driver with serious tire problems.

On January 8, Iowa troopers pulled over a tractor trailer on Interstate 380.

“Not only were both tires missing but, due to the trailer being loaded, it resulted in the remaining dual set being extremely overweight,” the Iowa State Patrol said.

The event also prompted the Iowa State Patrol to encourage truck drivers to “check your mirrors often and pay attention to other motorists who may be trying to tell you something is wrong!”.
