Kevin McCarthy Boast About Americans Struggling To Work For Food

White House and Republicans in Congress have decided on a tentative agreement about the new debt limit and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has boasted about making struggling Americans work to continue receiving food aid with a record of the nation of low unemployment during an interview in Fox News reported by Yahoo!news.

However, some parts of the precise details of the debt limit have not been released, but it’s stated that it will increase the maximum age at which adults must work to receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Snap) food stamps from age 50 to 54.

Veterans, those unhoused individuals, and those with dependents will have exceptions. The deal also includes changes to Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) but those details have not been made public.
