GILLETTE, Wyo. — For the seventh year in a row, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon has donated a wild bison license for a raffle supporting wildlife conservation, according to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
The license will be issued through a random raffle open only to state residents, in which participants must be eligible and meet all requirements to hunt big game in Wyoming, per Game and Fish. Tickets are available for $10 online beginning May 1 and will remain available through June 13.
“The chance to experience a wild bison hunt and also support conservation efforts is a win-win proposition,” Gordon said in a statement. “I am happy to once again offer Wyoming hunters this unique opportunity.”
Per Game and Fish, there is a limit of one ticket per person. The winner will be announced on June 23 and will receive a non-transferable 2025 wild bison license; however, additional stamps and applicable licenses still need to be purchased.
All proceeds from the raffle will go to the Wyoming Governor’s Big Game License Coalition to help support efforts sustaining Wyoming’s wildlife.
