GILLETTE, Wyo. — Springtime in Gillette means lots of rain showers, but also the occasional foggy morning. Over the next few days, the area will experience widespread fog in the mornings.

Today, most of the day’s rain and fog will be present before 7 a.m. The rest of the day will be cloudy and see a high near 42 degrees. Winds will come in around 14-17 mph, but could gust up to 26 mph. Showers will return before 11 p.m. tonight, as will the fog. Winds will calm down later as the evening progresses. The low for the night is 38 degrees — four degrees cooler than the day’s high.

Fog will return to the area tomorrow morning as well, most likely clearing up before 8 a.m. Unlike today, however, the rest of the day following will be sunny. The day’s high will also jump up significantly to 64 degrees. Winds will come in at 6-11 mph in the morning and 12-17 mph in the afternoon. Wednesday night will experience a low of 46 degrees with even stronger winds than the rest of the day.
