GILLETTE, Wyo. — A Gillette man was arrested for making terroristic threats after he allegedly told county employees that there would be bodies dropping yesterday morning, Gillette Deputy Police Chief Brent Wasson said.
According to the report, officers were dispatched to the Campbell County District Court office at 8:56 a.m. on May 1 after staff called to report a resident had threatened them.
Wasson said the man went to the office to file an attorney complaint and became upset when the process was explained. He allegedly told staff that if it were any other day, there would be bodies dropping.
The man reportedly left the courthouse on a bicycle, which officers located at a campground on W. 2nd Street, where they contacted 19-year-old Jayden Tetzlaff, per Wasson.
While speaking with officers, Tetzlaff reportedly admitted to making the statement and was subsequently arrested for making terroristic threats.
