GILLETTE, Wyo. — Showers and thunderstorms will take over the Gillette area today and the rest of this week as nearly every coming day will present an opportunity for precipitation.
Today will see up to a 50% chance of showers, while the skies will be cloudy and the temperature will reach only as high as 52 degrees. Winds will likely come in around 11-15 mph, but could peak at 21 mph.
Chances for showers will continue into tonight, where there will be a 20% chance of precipitation before 9 p.m. This will include a possibility for thunderstorms. The low tonight will be around 36 degrees, while winds will come in around 7-14 mph.
Tomorrow will once again present a strong chance of rain showers, mainly in the afternoon. There will be a 30% chance that this mostly sunny, 56-degree day sees rain. Thursday night, however, does not appear to be vulnerable to very much rain.
In fact, after Thursday, the coming days are expected to start heating up and feel almost summer-like. Friday will see a high of 66, which isn’t too warm. Saturday, though, will get up to 76 degrees.
