FREMONT COUNTY, Wyo. — Early Tuesday morning, April 29, County 10 received reports of increased law enforcement presence in the area of Burma Road and Young Road, which led to road closures and indications of at least one subject being detained.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office has since issued a release containing details about the incident, shared below.

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 29, 2025, the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary in progress at a business in the 100 block of Burma Road. Deputies responded and were assisted by Officers from the Riverton Police Department.

Two of the suspects had fled on foot into the surrounding neighborhood, while a third escaped in a vehicle. The vehicle was later located abandoned in the Gardens North Trailer Park.

One suspect, Kenneth D. Hebah (18 YOA), was located and apprehended in the area of Highway 789.

A second suspect, identified as Kevin Pino (32 YOA), was later located by employees of the business that had been burglarized in the area of Burma Road and Darnell Road.

The suspect (Pino) allegedly fired several shots at the employees from a handgun before fleeing the area. No one was struck by the gunfire but one individual was injured by shrapnel from a bullet striking the windshield of the vehicle he was driving. Kevin Pino was located and arrested by Deputies and Riverton Police Department Officers at around 9:24 am.

A third suspect, described as a female wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt remains at large. The investigation into this incident is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
