GILLETTE, Wyo. — Gillette will experience a warm and partly sunny day before rain showers make their way over the area tonight.
Today’s high will be 76 degrees, which won’t be bested at all this week. Temps next weekend, however, will get pretty close. Today will also feature 11-15 mph winds that could reach as high as 22 mph.
Showers will begin tonight, though very late. Tonight’s low will be 40 degrees and that temperature will be extended to Monday as well, as rain showers will continue into the daytime and make the day very chilly. Monday’s chance of precipitation is 90%. The day will also be windy with 15-24 mph winds that peak at 34 mph.
Tuesday should be much warmer than tomorrow, reaching as high as 63 degrees. Winds will also calm significantly, though they could still top out at 20 mph. Showers could reappear very late Tuesday night, but will contribute to only about a 20% chance of precipitation.
The showers Tuesday night will carry through to Wednesday, which should be the last day of significant precipitation this week. Following that, temps should slowly rise as clear skies take over. See the detailed forecast below for more information.
