GILLETTE, Wyo. — The coming weekend is expected to be a warm and mostly sunny one for the Gillette area community, though the National Weather Service reports that a rainy end to the weekend is likely in store.

The NWS reports that today will be cloudy through mid-morning before gradually clearing through the rest of the morning, with temperatures reaching a high near 72 degrees. It is also likely to be a fairly blustery day, with gusts of more than 30 mph possible.

Conditions should remain mostly clear past sundown, as temperatures drop to a low around 43 degrees.

Sunday’s forecast includes increasing cloud coverage, as temperatures reach high of about 76 degrees.

At night, the NWS reports a 60% chance of rain, likely starting just before midnight. Sunday temperatures are likely to drop to a low of about 42 degrees after sundown.
