Timothy Bliefnick, 39, a former family feud contestant will face life imprisonment in West Illinois after a verdict came out from a hearing on Friday, August 11. Timothy Bliefnick was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and home invasion in connection with the death of his 41-year-old nurse-wife, Rebecca Bliefnick.

Timothy Bliefnick’s horrendous murder can be traced back to February 14. The couple was under divorce proceedings at the time and both issued a restraining order to each other. On February 23, Timothy Bliefnick invaded Rebecca’s house armed with a gun. Timothy Bliefnick allegedly fired at Rebecca at a close range, about 14 times when their three children were sound asleep in their beds.
Rebecca’s body was discovered by a family member after she failed to fetch their children from school. Timothy Bliefnick was arrested in March and was convicted in June.

A four-day trial court in May pressed Timothy Bliefnick as concrete evidence was seen in his internet searches such as “how to break into a window with a crowbar” and “how to create a homemade gun silencer”.
