Thereafter, the Texas pastor managed to restrain the suspect for a few moments. However, the suspect jumped into the pickup truck and drove it through a fence before taking off down the road. Fortunately, the authorities were able to capture the suspect later that day after a brief police chase.

According to Lepore, the suspect was later identified as Shane Jennings, 54. Reports say Jennings faced six felony charges that included assault of a peace officer and aggravated assault of an elderly person. Fortunately, the Koehns did not sustain any serious injury during the attack.
