An applicant must be a resident of Cambridge, Massachusetts to qualify for the $500 monthly payment. Must be at least 18 years old and have at least one person in their household under 21.
The income requirement depends on how many people live in the household. A mother and a child or a household of 2 will be eligible for the payment if they make no more than $49,300 a year. While a household of 3 will qualify if their annual income does not go over $62,150. In every additional household member, the income limits slightly increase.
Washington Examiner reported that in addition to receiving the monthly payments, those who are eligible can make money by participating in surveys or by documenting their experiences in the program. It will be optional and those who partake will be compensated for the time spent on the side projects.
