Armored Truck Robbery Suspects Arrested
According to Machi, at around 1:20 p.m., two unidentified suspects closed in on a male individual who was unloading an armored truck of Brink in Bridgeport. Reports say these two suspects withdrew their weapons and demanded for the victim to surrender the vehicle. A witness of the armored truck robbery stated that one of the suspects held the victim at gunpoint while the other obtained the boxes of money inside the vehicle.
The suspects allegedly stole around $400,000 before driving away from the crime scene with the Brink’s armored truck. Fortunately, after a few miles, the Chicago police had arrested them. To date, it is not yet known if the armored truck robbery incidents are connected with each other.
