Almost three weeks after being placed in a psychiatric hold, Amanda Bynes will reportedly still be staying in a mental health hospital. The medical staff in the hospital are taking Bynes on a treatment on a weekly basis. Nonetheless, the former child is not being forced to remain at the facility and is not ready to be discharged herself.
According to Sarnoff, on March 26, reports say Amanda Bynes’ psychiatric hold had been extended for a week or longer if needed. The date of Bynes’ release from the hospital is still not determined but an outpatient treatment place is being prepared to guarantee her good condition.

According to Carpenter, on March 19, Amanda Bynes was first placed in a psychiatric hold after she was found naked while roaming the streets of Los Angeles. Bynes reportedly hailed a car and told the driver she was having a psychotic episode before calling 911 on her own.
Thereafter, Amanda Bynes was transported to a police station nearby where a mental health team decided she needed to be put in a psychiatric hold. In 2013, reports say Bynes was also placed in a conservatorship under her mother, Lynn Bynes. By March 2022, Amanda Bynes’ conservatorship was put to an end after providing the facts that she no longer needed it.
