Newsbreak: Shocking Triple Homicide Uncovered in Albuquerque Home, Investigations Underway

Three people were found dead in a house in Albuquerque after an off-duty state parks law enforcement officer spotted a person lying in the street, according to police. The person found in the roadway appeared to have been stabbed and died. Following the trail of blood on a house, upon entering, officers found two people with fatal gunshot wounds. The identities of the victims have not been released, and detectives are investigating the relationship between the individuals involved.

The police have interviewed a man who was locked in a room at the house and do not believe he is a suspect. It is unclear whether he was injured. Investigators have filed search warrants for the home and vehicles in the garage to determine what happened.

The violence was contained within the residence located in the North Valley of Albuquerque. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood, located near a public library and fire station, according to Albuquerque police spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos. Although there are many possibilities to be considered, the police do not believe there is an offender still at large. A firearm was found on the scene, which has led investigators to believe that no one is outstanding in terms of a shooter.

The police are attempting to find relatives of a toddler who was carried away from the scene by a first responder. They are unsure whether the girl was in the house at the time of the incident. The investigation is still in its early stages, and detectives are working to uncover more information about what happened in the house.
