On February 20, a South Carolina state trooper reportedly attempted to pull a driver over in Marion County for speeding. However, Kyle McGahee, South Carolina’s Public Safety Department spokesperson released a statement saying, instead of pulling over for the traffic stop, the speeding driver rather drove away faster.

According to Fox News, the police car chase made it into Dillon County, where the speeding driver stepped out of his car and shot at the state trooper. The state trooper, in turn, shot back at the speeding driver as well.
