Brian Laundrie Hikes Near Appalachian Trail, Witness Claims

A Florida man trekking the Appalachian Trail claims he noticed Brian Laundrie riding in a white pickup truck around 12:30 a.m. ET on Saturday in Tennessee near the North Carolina border.

Dennis Davis says he has ‘no doubt’ he encountered Petito’s boyfriend on a deserted avenue close to the trail close to the Tennessee border – seven-hundred miles away from where the 23-year-old was once ultimate viewed near his domestic in North Point, Florida.

Davis told Fox News said he did not at first recall that the driver may additionally have been Laundrie. But after the encounter, he appeared up photographs of the fugitive wanted on debit card fraud charges. He then felt like calling to FBI and 911 operators in Tennessee and North Carolina to report the incident.

Brian Laundrie Seen Hiking in Appalachian Trail

He says the man pulled up alongside Davis and made a weird request for help. He asked for directions on how to go to California through back roads. Davis, a dad-of-four, said he should take Interstate 40, which runs east to west from North Carolina all the way to California.

Davis told the New York Post there is no doubt in his thought that he talked to Brian Laundrie. Dog, the Bounty Hunter’s daughter, despatched him an audio file of Brian’s voice. He heard the same voice.

He also told Fox News that he first suspected the man may have been on drugs but later believed he was “mentally shot.” He also mentioned that he had a fight with his girlfriend.

According to the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina, they acquired the details from Davis around 2:40 a.m., and several deputies were dispatched to the area. Deputies stated they came throughout a few similar automobiles, but after strolling the plates, they were probable hikers. Davis said as of Sunday morning, he has yet to obtain a name again from the police or the FBI.

Daily Mail said Laundrie is familiar with the Appalachian Trail. Some people claim he has lived alone in the area for months. The man Davis sighted drove a white or light-colored pick up truck corresponding to a Ford F-150 and wore a dark bandana on his head.
