The 6-year-old student who shot Teacher Abby Zwerner in Virginia has allegedly choked another teacher in 2021. The student is currently taken to a medical facility where he is getting unnamed services.The 6-year-old student who shot his first-grade teacher in Virginia has also allegedly choked another teacher in 2021. The shooting incident has wounded Teacher Abby Zwerner at Richneck Elementary School last month. On the other hand, the choking incident was filed through a legal notice by an attorney for Zwerner. Reports say the student went behind the other teacher, locked his forearms around her neck, and pulled her back down. Fortunately, a teacher assistant was able to pull the student off the teacher.
According to Musto, the teacher requested not to be named for fear of possible retaliation from the school district. However, the unnamed teacher stated that the incident had been reported to administrators. Still, the teacher said she did not feel safe for the rest of the year because of the incident. Eventually, the student was transferred to another class in another school.

Student’s Behavioral Problems
An article on the AP News stated that Zwerner’s attorney Diane Toscano informed the school district that her client intends to sue. The notice reportedly summarized the past behavioral problems of the student at Richneck Elementary School. Reportedly, the student also cursed at a staff member and attempted to whip fellow students with his belt.
Two days before the shooting incident, the student allegedly slammed Zwerner’s cell phone. After he was given a one-day suspension for it, he returned to Zwerner’s class where the shooting incident took place. Reports say the student used a 9 mm handgun to shoot Zwerner while she was sitting at a reading table. Authorities stated that the student was already taken to a medical facility where he is getting unnamed medical services.
